Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The services stage made for intervention ordeals a higher influx status sassa of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
